While maintaining highly efficient and stable corporate development, Tide Pharmaceutical actively fulfills its tax obligations. Since 2009, Tide Pharmaceutical has ranked the top five taxpayers in Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area that gathers large international and domestic companies such as Mercedes-Benz, Bayer and JD. By the end of 2019, Tide had cumulatively paid more than ¥7 billion taxes, making a proactive contribution to social and economic development.
During the course of development, Tide Pharmaceutical has adhered to public welfare undertakings and actively assume social responsibilities to benefit the society. During the 2008 Wenchuan Earthquake and “Earthquake Relief, Building Home Together” rescue operation, the 2012 “Love in the New Area, We Are in Action” charity event, and the 2015 Tianjin Binhai New Area major explosion accident, Tide Pharmaceutical actively donated cash and medicines for treating the wounded, disaster relief and reconstruction of disaster areas. After the outbreak of COVID-19 in 2020, Ms. Zheng Xiangling, Chairman of Tide Pharmaceutical, immediately donated ¥10 million to Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences affiliated to the National Health Commission to jointly tackle key problems in science and technology. In the meantime, Tide Pharmaceutical carried out a series of continuing donations in the forms of funds, materials, ambulance, medicines and cash, with a total donations exceeding ¥4 million.
